heat pipe panel solar

vacuum solar tube labeled

The vacuum tubes absorb solar energy and aluminium wings transfer the heat energy to the heat pipe. The liquid in the heat pipe boils and the steam travels up to the top of the heat pipe. The top bulb of the heat pipe (the condenser bulb) is in contact with cool water, which causes the steam to condense flows down the heat pipe. This cycle repeats so long as sunlight keeps heating the pipe and the top of the pipe is cool enough to condense the steam.

The vacuum tube is composed of an inner tube, an outer tube, selective absorption layer, vacuum space, and an absorbtive, or "inspiratory" layer. The outer wall of the inner tube is the selective absorption layer. The space between outer tube and inner tube is the vacuum space. At the bottom of the outer tube ,there is a inspiratory, or absorption layer, to keep the vacuum.
