Advanced Features	Special controlling chip, multi-function integrated features, advanced pressure and temperature sensors. Built to integrate into the standalone complete solar water heater system tank; mounting hardware in place.
Multi-functional	Able to preset the time and volume of water input, able to automatically start and stop; able to preset the time and the temperature to start the auxiliary electric heater; able to keep the water temperature constant by presetting the auxiliary electric heater; anti-freezing; auto-detection of system problems, electronic display, and auto-alarm.
LCD display	Displays water temperature, clock, water level and function presets.
Easy to Operate	May or may not use default program.  Use it as-is, or customize.
Safety	Can be programmed to protect from short-circuit, overflow, leaks and over-temperature.
